im making a new breed

1993 F150 Flareside EXTCAB with an 1996-1997 Explorer long block with GT40 heads (not GT40P)and a C6 trans

engine is still stock tough.. im gonna put it in the truck with Cobra Upper intake plenum.. but i want to know the stock cam specs and HP it makes to the Flyweel ?

Looks like a cool project.

I'm not sure of the cam specs. But I believe that the 5.0 makes 210 HP and 280 lb-ft. Hopefully someone else will come along that knows the cam specs.

The explorer cam has .422/.448 lift and 256/266 advertised duration. The mustang cam has .444/.444 lift and 278/278 adv. duration. This means the mustang valves are open longer and more air is moved in and out of the engine translating into more power

ahh ok thanks guys... im doing an Cam swap.. a 0.512 / .0512 lift with Advertised Duration: 264 int./270 exh. with matching valve springs and pushrods offcourse...
