Hi, my name is Joe and I own a 1994 Ford Explorer.

I'd like to say that I love working on cars but...with the way the economy has been screwed up I do this out of necessity. I really don't dislike working on stuff, I just have so much stuff that I always have plenty of stuff to do.

I worked at The NIH (National Institutes of Health) in the engineering division. I always told my people "if you can work and understand all that's needed to do a good job here you can work anywhere"

The standards of design, maintenance, renovation, and construction etc. at a research institute like NIH with it on-site 10 story hospital, huge animal care facility and the largest sq.ft. of laboratories in the world, (with over 10,000 employees, its own power plant and electrical generators), are overall the most complicated and difficult types of infrastructure and buildings that you will ever see or work on.
I'd either scare off any new guys or totally excite them...anyway I'm trying to say when it come to mechanical anything...I can do it, it might take me a lot longer than a master in a certain field, but eventually I usually can figure most stuff out.

Thanks for any help on my ole 94 Explorer in advance. And I will try to help anybody in here on whatever I can...refridgeration, electrical, plumbing etc. in the future.

Joe, welcome to the forum.
