Returning after a long break. I'm 72, 26 yr A.F. warhorse, loving my '97 E.B. sohc fordor (2wd), and '92 4wd 2dr that my daughter bought new. She traded that crap honda in on it, heh heh. Gonna be looking for some parts soon, as both are getting tired. Anybody got recommendations on swapping, fixing, etc., the 4.0? Anybody ever swapped out the 6 for a 5.0/tranny combo? This is a no rust Cali car w/178k miles,and would like to hang on to it but want more power for towing a small trailer. My creaky old bones and joints scream just bending over the fender checking fluids, so any work done needs pro hands. Thanx, Dirty Dave.
