high flow Cat???

hey guys what should l look for in a high flow cat for my 92 explorer??

like is there a certain kind that will work only...like an offset like the muffler or will an "universal" one work...

any info on these will help a lot!

Get a universal it will be about half the price as the Explorer specific one.

Flo or no

I'd look for a cat that has its ceramic honeycomb inset to the housing. Flo alot better thasn the ones that are ot inset. If you buy it over the counter call some local enhaust shops and see if they mind installing your cat.

summit racing has our cat for about $150. its the double setup and I had to send the first back b/c they 'just figured' it was universal. unluckily, we have a dual cat configuration so swapping to a hi flow is a probably a good idea.
