Ok, i have some money, so what do i get first.... the granatelli high flow air sensor, or the bbk 66mm throttle body. Which one would show more improvement?? I already have a K&N FIPK, but thats pretty much it for air flow.

Get the BBK 66mm TB before getting the Gran. The TB will give more results for the $$. The larger MAF would give more results if you had a port and polish job to go with it.

When I was considering both of them for my '94 4.0L Ranger, the owner of 4.0L Performance in California (Central Coast Mustang) recommended I get the larger MAF sensor before the throttle body since the stock throttle body was already larger than the stock MAF sensor. He said if I got a larger throttle body first, I would never feel it since the MAF senors would still be choking down the incoming air. I got the larger MAF sensor per his suggestion and I really can't say I could feel any difference with it. I never did try a larger throttle body.

I have both.... and I really didnt notice the MAS a whole lot. The TB I did. With or without the MAS. Although, I could be easily making more HP on my top end and not know it. Probably picked up a few hp. Never went to the dyno with it. I dont think the TB really gives much hp either... a few at most.... but the throtlle response is much improved.

yup, definately the TB first. The stock MAS is already 70mm, though it has more restriction than an aftermarket 70mm unit.

Lemme put it this way: I'm still running the stock MAS :)

TB. I wouldn't do the MAS at all.

Thanks guys. I've heard getting a new (OEM) MAF sensor can help out. What do you guys think about getting the BBK tb and then an oem maf from like autozone or oreily's. Would a new maf give me any improvement overall?
