Has anyone upgraded to a 200 amp alternator?

I have one in my 88 van. I had one in my old 90 Grand Am, but now it's sitting in a crate in the basement. The company that made them went out of business because they were overpriced, constructed out of inferior parts that were defective before they were shipped, had poor customer service, and the shipping department couldn't learn to package anything without shooting staples through the box into parts like the voltage regulators. They charged the credit card immediately, shipped a month later, then charged for shipping again to return it. It also cost to ship it back to them. There are some on the market that are good quality unlike this kind of garbage, but you have to get a recommendation from another user that has them.
