I finally got my 94 Ranger to move under its own power. New valve body and servo seals. I am having a problem with reverse though. It wont just snap into gear. You have to raise the rpm to get it to engage. It seams that this is causing excessive pressure to build and the pump seal is leaking. ( i assume that's where it is coming from, fluid coming from between the block and trans) Any body have any pointers on what to look for. Im about ready to get out of this thing and back to the mustangs i know inside out.

I had a moment to mess with the truck today and on first start up it went right into reverse and pulled. I then shifted into drive and it worked as it should (and has). When i went back to reverse it was slow and i had to rev it a little to get it to move. It hadn't warmed up any. It only ran for maybe a min. No leaks now but i didnt rev it long and didnt build enough pressure i guess.

HELP PLEASE.
