Hi,

The Highlight beam couldn't be switched off, I don't know why?
does the multi function switch occur this problem?

Ford Explorer 2011
Thanks!

If both headlights were not shutting off, that eliminates the shutter that moves within the headlight to control them... my first guess would be the multifunction switch is faulty.

You are referring to headlights and not high beams, right?

I would concur. I test drove an F-150 that had a broken switch that was doing the same thing.

This should be what you need: Turn Signal Switch

I mean the high beam light.
Okay, I think I know what you mean but for clarification are you referring to the High Beam light indicator on the dash? I believe it is a blue colour. Does it stay on no matter which position the switch is in? Have you tried playing with the hi beam/turn signal lever a few times to see if it will turn off. If not perhaps the issue is with the lever as suggest by orangesoda123. This problem has not been posted about before.

Peter, I believe he means he put his high beams on and could not get them to revert to low beams.

I mistyped in my post, I meant to say "high beams" and not "headlights".

I think we'll have to see what his response is to my post. Whether it is the actual high beams staying on or the headlight ON indicator.

Yes, I am referring to the High Beam light and the blue color in the dash is on.

Yesterday, I removed the signal indicator lever and the high beam is off then I open the lever it self I see only green board it's seem that nothing to be burnt, it's only green board. now I am thinking the problem with the multifunction board which I don't now how to remove it. I think I need to remove the interior steering wheel.

Any advice Please?
is there any one has the light diagram with pinout?

I checked it now is OK after I removed the signal lever for one day then I return it back!
Is there ECU for light?

I think the issue was likely due to a problem with the control lever. Removing and re-installing it probably cleared it up. If it happens again, it may need to be replaced. Not sure about the ECU part.
