Hissing Sound from dash 1998 Explorer

I have a hissing sound that seems to be coming from the dash. Seems louder when the motor is cold. Has anyone heard of this problem before?

sure it's from the dash and not from under the truck? the separator plate in the transmission on these years have been a prime culprit on hissing noises.. does it go away when you hit the gas? if it does it's probably the plate.. but no worries cause it doesn't affect it in any way, just annoying
