Hey guys,
Just replaced all four pads on the truck. The problem is I have excessive brake noise. Not loud squealing (tho there is some of this), but right before the truck comes to a complete stop, it makes a noise like the pads are "sticking" to the rotor. Kind of like when an old truck comes to a stop.
My question is this- is it because I did the brakes myself and didnt "machine" them? Should I have cleaned them somehow? Is there some coating on the pad that just needs to wear off? Help! Thanks
