- 2010 Explorer Eddie Bauer
just picked up a 2010 Explorer Eddie Bauer and the drivers visor mirror does not light up and the homelink appears dead. I assume its a fuse or broken wire. I don't have the operators manual (yet) so I am not sure which fuse I should be looking at.
Well I have determined that the fuse is good ( even though I am not sure which one it is ) due to the fact that I have the passenger mirror lights work and I un-screwed the driver visor, exposed the red and black wires going to the visor and the red has a constant 12v.
So now I cannot figure out how to remove the mirror assy from the visor so I can check the wires and hope its just a disconnected cable.
Solved the problem. The ground wire had broken as it entered the visor tube. I ran a new ground wire and that fixed it.
