Horn Relay (where is it?)

I have a 1994 Explorer XTL with 4.0L V-6. I am modifying it for use as a Fire / EMS fly car. I have a siren which I need to connect to the Horn Ring Switch in the steering wheel and the installation instructions tell me to do this by accessing the Horn Relay on the vehicle and splicing the wire coming from the horn rin switch (if it generates a min. of 2 Amps current) or the wire going from the relay to the Horn unit if the other wire doesn't generate at least 2 amps.

I have consulted my Haynes Repair Manual and found no help.

So with that said, does anyone know if the 1994 XLT uses a Horn Relay, if so where it should be located, which wire (color) is coming from the switch and which one is going to the horn, and if there is 2A of current (yes I can evaluate this with a multi meter, but if you know already I'll use it ).

I've got a '97 5.0 AWD and my horn relay is under the hood in the covered relay/fuse box, driver's side near the firewall. Hope that helps.
