Well I say this today in HOT ROD Magazine.
And I figured some of you would be interested in this. (like Black Magic, Troll, and X-Box.)
The event will be held at the Memphis Motorsports Park in Memphis, Tennessee. On April 30, May 1.
The Deadline to turn in the entry form is January 15, 2004. And they will select up to 50 contestants and announce them on HOTROD.com by January 30, 2004.
It is a street drag race event held by HOT ROD. Trucks and SUVs are allowed in this event.
It is free to any one but they are only going to choose 50 cars for the event.
Everyone who is in the event gets their cars picture in HOT ROD. The winner of the event is crown fast street car in the world and gets a feature of his car in HOT ROD. Also HOT ROD Editor's will Pick winners for the Most Legit 8-Second Streeter as well as 9-, 10-, and 11-Second, and they will pick the Best Car on Drag Radials and Best Naturally Aspirated car. Which all those picks will get extra coverage in the magazine also.
