Im new here so lemme introduce myself, i have a 99 explorer  which i purchased about a year ago after my 85 Blazer took a crap, i love my explorer i have a real nice system in it and i keep it clean for the most part, however, i cannot stand :fire: how the suspension leans back when i drive. its like im getting pulled back when i accellerate and i like to be leaning forward more than backward. Im sure you guys know exactly what i mean, please any info on how to change this would be greatly appreciated.

There are 2 fairly cheap and easy ways to do it. you can purchase warrior shackles that are longer than your stock ones, approx 1.5 inches, or you can get add-a-leaf and gain about the same. or obviously you can do both to gain more. each should cost less than 100 bucks installed. someone else can chime in and tell you where to get them. i got my add-a-leafs from summit.
good luck

or air bags

or put in a new leaf pack.

Here is one source I'm considering for the same problem. I called Carrier and they said this is a 4/1 spring rated a 1450lbs, which replaces the stock 3/1 pack rated at 1250lbs. Comments welcome. Anyone using these?

Explorer 91-00 Leaf Springs (no lift)

I guess you are talking about how the back leafs sag and make the back lower than the front. This was the same with mine X until i sent the leafs to be re-arched which fixed the problem. If you are talking about that than re-arching them or adding add-a-leafs are the only thing you can do to get the back end to be level with the front.

Is there any place other than 4 wheel parts where I can pick up those shackles, I'd like to put them on my 00'XLS. The rear doesn't sag to bad but I'd like it up higher.

Thanks for the info you guys, it helped alot, i dont kno what you meant by that stuff haha, but it looks like i got some researching to do, thanks for the tip
