how do i remove the auto trans in my 92 explorer?

so i bought my second explorer the other day with 109k on it, when i took it for a test drive it didnt show any signs of tranny problems. However once i purchased the vehicle i took it out on the free way, in over drive right around 55-60 mph it starts to make a flapping and hitting sound underneath my feet and it looses power and wont accelerate( almost like it wont down shift). so after all that i have noticed that if i accelerate to hard in drive it will do the same things.. can anyone help with the problem and/or a step by step to remove the tranny??

Can't help with the problem, but for the step by step, go to the auto parts store and get a Haynes or Chiltons repair book for your year, you don't want to do any work without one.
