I want to know what a Digital Media Player does. Can you just send music to it from your house while it is in your car. Does it replace cd's? Do I need a good computer to use it? How will it work with my amp that has rca's? Will I have to buy a new head unit? What is the cheapest I can get one for?
nobody has anny info for me? I want to buy one cuz all of my cd's are getting all scrached up and I want to get one for the cheepest price. Is it worth it?
I'm not sure what you're talking about, but here's what I do. I have the Neo 25 from IOMagic/SSI America, which is a hard drive based MP3 player that holds 20 gigs of tunes. I connect it through my amp and have tunes galore.
I know someone on here has the Kenwood Music Keg. IOMagic/SSI America make an in dash Neo, I believe it's the Neo 35. I think more companies are making more of these devices. My recommendation is to get a portable unit and hook it up to your head unit or amp. This way you can take it with you away from your car or for security purposes.
