how is castrol syntec?

i currently use castrol gtx 20w50 year round since i've had my X. i never had any problems at all. just wondering about the synthetic oil. i have almost 106,000 miles on my X. should i switch to a blend like syntec? i've heard that i shouldn't switch to a full synthetic? or should i just stay with what is working? thanks gang.

Its oil. Use it if you want. Seriously, I don't get all of the hype about motor oils. When comparing regular oil... its all the same. yes, AMSOIL is high quality synthetic, but when buying at wal-mart, just get whatever name brand is on sale that day.
