how much should installation cost for a body lift? i got quoted by a friend that works for desertrat and he said he can hook me up for the lift and installation for $480. Does that sound like a reasonable price??
so that doesnt sound to bad then. I just do not have time between school and work to do it myself, so unfortunately i have to lose out and pay someone to do it. Thanks
yeah, wait till next year or make time. i paid $89 for my BL, plus when i had to replace a few bushings and i had bumper brackets made, it still cost me like a total of $200. with a buddy and the right tools, it can be done in one day....i cant imagine paying that much for just a BL. if you do want to have someone else install something for you, drop the extra $$ and get a susp lift. talk to peeps on teh board, you may find a fellow ex owner that will cut you a deal.
I already have a 4" suspension lift and I am wanting to get 3 more inches on there. So im trying to figure out if I should do it or not. I work or go to school 10+ hours a day so i wouldnt have time to do it myself for a couple of years probably.
i still wouldnt pay anyone that much. its really pretty simple if you are prepared. i work 35-40 hrs/week and i have 15 cr hrs, so i know about time constraints. if you have the $$, more power to ya, but it wasnt sorth that much to me...besides, it feels better if you do it yourself.
Wow, I couldn't even imagine paying $400-700 to have someone else do a BL. I'd be afraid that they would screw something up too... It can be done in a weekend man, I say go for it
