How much Lift and gear for 31x10.50 tires

How much lift (Suspension, body or combination of) do I need to get 31 x 10.50 tires under my 2001 Explorer Sport trac 4X4? Also what gear ratio would i need and would a body lift alone be sufficient ...... thank you in advance for your responses.

i got a 94 xlt.... got stock 3.73 gears and lsd....got 31s no lift.....

i would keep the gears at 3.73 or 4.1. you can lift it really cheap with the torsion twist and shackle/ add-a-leaf rear lift. ill let you do a thread search for those topics. you could do a 2" body lift for plenty of clearance.
