How much will all of this cost me?

Okay, so to pass inspection I need
-2 new rocker panels
-2 new ball joints
-all brakes done
-2nd catalytic converter
-muffler

Roughly what will this cost me? And do you think it's worth fixing the truck?
The truck is a 1997. It has 96,000 miles on it, but drives like it has 150,000 miles on it.

Going to be tough to get an answer here as most guys do the work themselves.
Is it lower ball joints? Also, quality of components going in plays a huge factor of cost. Those rocker panel install and painting will probably be big money unless you find someone in the business willing to do the work as a side job. The mechanical will be the same thing.
Take your truck to a dealership for the work, and your trucks not worth fixing. Shop for the right people to do the work and it could be saved.
