How much would be a good price for a complete drivetrain from a 1993 Explorer. The engine, tranny, transfer case, rear axle, front axle, and all of the electrical stuff and miscellaneous bits to make it work. Of course the stuff is used, and I think it has about 150k on it, but it is all in good working order. I am buying a complete explorer for parts, and a friend was interested in buying the drivetrain from me. I would like to know what I should ask for it.
Thanks,
Rob

Rob.. I bought all the stuff you're talking about (but from a '99 Explorer V8 AWD) for just over $1k.

I'm thinking maybe around $800-$900 would be an okay deal.

Thanks, I told him $750, but will probably take less because he's a good friend. I am only paying $300 for the truck anyways;) but need money to fix my Ex. I'm mainly buying the thing for the passenger side sheetmetal. I'll take what I need and part the rest.Thank you for your help.

One other thing: I'm not trying to rip him off either. I bought it for my needs and thought I could make some extra money to fund my project by parting it out. He was interested in the drivetrain to put on his Ranger, so I gave him what I thought was a decent price for it. Like I said, I will probably sell it to him for less than that.
