I am uncertain as to how saleen does it. But i do know this you could just turn the tortion bars down and add blocks to the rear to make it level, i did it this way for a while, but my alignment costed me $170 cause they needed something, i think it was just BS, but there was nothing i could do. Or you could do this
According to everything I've read, there's no difference between lowering a 2wd and a 4wd as long as you don't have the air suspension option.
Saleen and Explorer Express do it the same way: blocks in the rear and torsion twist in the front. Check out the Explorer Express website bcuz it's got some very good info.
Nuthin. The sports only have a monoleaf rear. If you lower the front only 1 1/2" the rear should be about even. If you feel the need to go lower, the sport already has a spacer block. You simply undo the u-bolts, move the spacer so that it sits between the axle and the leaf springs and put the u-bolts back in place. Easy.
What i did was put the lil 'spacer' blocks that are between my spring and shock plate, and put them between my Axle and spring. This is about 1.5" and then the EE kit up front. I don't know if thats what the directions said or not,but i know the sport kit doesn't come wilth blocks.
I did what i stated above, and then lowered the tortion bars to match, then got an alignment
