How to reupholster steering wheels, seats, etc...

I have been thinking about reupholstering the seats in my B2 (Red Leather) from cloth- just sort of a project to occupy winter doldrums and I came across a series of videos where this guy shares some intimate knowledge about upholstering and how to reupholster steering wheels etc... The music is cheesy and some of the color coordinates are gnarly BUT it is great info for the DIY's

I am by no means a seamstress, but have always wondered how they got the leather on the steering wheel. And yes that music is the same crap they pipe into Old Country Buffet and McDonalds
