Alright, so I bought my 03 back in December of 09 with 80k on the odometer since than it has been all around town miles usually getting 12mpg the farthest run being 6-7 miles at a time then the engines off. Well now I have 89000 on it and am taking it to P.A to a lake for the day. Im going to be pulling my jetski there which is only about 1000lb with the trailer and ski. Just asking what kind of MPG should I be expecting to get. Truck rarley has gone on the highway since I bought it, and when it does its usually at 80 but Im probably going to keep it at 65 when I go

Gosh, mr '04 (with 4.0L eng.) just pulled 433 miles using 18.8 gallons- 23 mpg. (all highway). I couldn't imagine it losing 10 mpg driving in city. Do you have the V-8? imp

Never been to NYC, have you? :p:

just took a 180 mile trip in Michigan. . .with Boat -1000lbs, Roof Rack Cargo Box 11cu/ft, V8 w/3.55's (small hitch) - 15.8mpg. I set the cruise and reset the MPG at the start of the trip. Checked it when i got there, included a few potty breaks, lunch etc.

Well I did the trip and average 18.6 mpg suprising because I was getting on it going up the hills. But ya my city driving averages only 12mpg but I barley go more than 2-3 miles without shutting her down. As for NYC been there tons of times but I take my 03 Yukon XL Denali for almost all highway driving
