So I been rockin my ranger for about six years now and love it. Recently, just got new 31 good years ready for winter hell, been pretty snowy so far. my toy is used daily and for the occasional fishing/hunting and kids quad outings. I beat to hell with 300k and still pumping, has had some work done but nothing to brag about. I love junk yards there be gold in there if ya know how to look, but most junkyard guys can be a-holes and think they know it all. This old man has been around and can find treasures most can't see.

Newb Yetirider here

I hear ya about those junk yard guys. I go to the pay and pull junk yards where you can pick your own parts without some guy telling you how to do it and what not. You can find all kinds of treasures in there and it is a lot of fun finding parts. I have a 2000 ranger with 178k and still runs like a champ. Just started making some tapping noises, but what i have heard this normal for a 4.0 ltr push rod engine.

My 92 Motor in my 91 Came from Jasper and with 105K miles on it now ,its starting to tap/tick on cold mornings , not for long and not too loud . its a common thing for certain mileage
