HU Question

Hey..I just purchased a Pioneer DEH-1600 head unit...has anyone used any of these? any comments about them? Also I had someone tell me that u couldnt hook up an amp to them...It has preamp outputs...why cant ya? Idk but could somebody clear this up for me...Thanks

if it has preamp outs, u most certainly can hook an amp up to it

Uhhh. Yeah you can hook up one amp to it. If you plan on doing anysort of system down the road, you have to upgrade to atleast a 3600 but a 6600 would be better.

There is good news though, since you did buy an aftermarket HU, you can just pull it out and plug in a different one, without the hassle of getting different Installation accesories.
