I've noticed over the past few days, with this cold weather. When I start my X and turn on the heat or defrost a loud hum or whine (all most like a barge ship lol) comes from the engine, but only for like 8-10 seconds. Then it might do it once more after driving for 5-10 mins. All my gauges seem fine its just dang annoying!
