humming sound from front of car on highway

so my 01 v8 is has been humming when on the high way around 70mph, i am pretty sure it is drive train related but not sure what... the humming changes intensity depending how much throttle i give it... is it the transfer case?do i need new fluid? no idea any and all help is appreciated. ok truck has 104k

I have the same issue and Im stumped like you. Heres what I have come up with....Its not the hub bearings, Cvs, front driveshaft, or tires. The next thing Im going to tackle is the inner axle bearings. Good luck let me know what you find out.
 






yea ... i am leaning toward my front dif..... when i get off the throttle it goes away, when back under load starts humming.... wondering if i am low on fluid in the dif or somthing.

I have had this car two years, the sound developed about a year ago and seems to be getting louder. As stated above I'm pretty confident taht its in the diff I just dont know what in the diff. She's gettin torn apart this weekend. Funny you say it goes away when you let off the gas check your front driveshaft take it off and check it, mine was completely blown and I had no idea until a mechanic pointed it out. My sound accures with and without the gas pressed.
