Hypertech chip can I use?

Was at a sale and bought a hypertech chip.It says PN 459 911 / SN 507 411 on the chip and on the back part #459911 lists as fitting 95 ford ranger 4.0 EFI Elec Auto w/OD, has 8 slide switchs any ideas on the position of the switchs? Mines a 94 xlt 4wd 4.0 od will this work on mine I have the same set up.

I installed it in mine and it ran terrible , would barely run. I wonder if the switchs are in the wrong positions? I unplugged it and it runs fine now. anyone have input on this or the positions of the slide switchs? Thanx!
