I just got a 2001 Explorer Sport that has a power window control switch problem and I can't find a new switch. I put a junkyard replacement in it but the problem returned after one successful down/up cycle. Is there a possibility that a fuse or something else is causing this malfunction? Why can't I find a switch? I also have a rear tailgate actuator that is not working properly. Any tips?:exp:

can't speak for the rear actuator... but the front...replace the motor. chances are either you got ANOTHER bad switch (doubtful-but possible if window was down out of vehicle you got it from) OR the motor is bad.

Welcome to this forum! Check the wiring between the door, and the frame. They develop cracks, and cause issues.
