I need an advice for new XLT purchase

Hi guys,
I am about to close my deal today for brand new XLT 4wd.
final sale price $35,500 +tax+license
I didnt have a time to search a lot, and i need a car soon, so I like to know what you guys think about the price?Also dealer was really pushy for an extended warranty, should I consider it or not?
MSRP: $40,880

Sounds like a good deal. An extended waranty is helpful if anything goes wrong in the next 5 years, if you have the extra money for the extended warranty i would say get it! It will deffinatly help costs if anything does happen

Regarding the extended warranty, if it is with Warranty Direct run like the wind in the opposite direction. They are a scam and will not pay.

thats about right for a lower end xlt i passed on warranty but purchased a supplemental electronics warranty thru ford....i heard that chip and computer can be pricey if it fails....
