Today i installed my new custom air intake well after installing it and plugging it and puting on the battery cable i took it out for a spin. It worked great sound good and fast too. Heres where it gets wierd well after the install when i took it out for a spin i realized my breaks lights are not working and my radio will not come on. I have tried to turn it on many times and i checked the fuses under the dash and the bulbs in the back i cant figure it out. All the other things on my dash work fine and the back blinkers and emergancy lights work but the brake lights and head unit wont work. HELP ME PLEASE.
some fuses that look fine arent. i doubt it has anything to with installing the intake, just a coincidence. replace every fuse that has anything to do with brake lights or the radio. you could have ruined one when you hooked the battery back up.
Sounds like you may have a weak ground...electricity has a funny way of traveling when its not properly grounded...double check your neg. cable. Clean the terminal real good with a wire brush and put some Batt. term. grease on it.
I agree with Fiftyfeetup, double check the fuses, maby this time with a multi-meter, or just replace any that have any thing to do with the affected lights.
