I NEED HELP TAKING OFF MY DOOR PANELS - 01 SPORT

just like the subject line says - how do i get the door panels off - trying to replace speakers and i have taken out all the screws but the door panel still wont come loose ...

i wouldn't need to double post if there were people in here but since there wasn't anyone in here and i was literally trying at the very second to get the door panel off it was pertant that i had that information - delete this thread i dont care i just needed a quick answer

Removing the two screws by the handle is only half the battle. After those are removed, the you have to break all the trim clips loose that are holding the panel to the door frame. You can do this a number of ways. You can use a knife or a trim clip puller-upper tool that you can get at any auto store. Be GENTLE when pulling the clips. If you pull the clips out of the door panels themselves, you are up a creek.

thanks for your help guys - the project is all done - new speakers all around in about 2 and a half hours start to screw up to finish and test

sure i'll go take some right now :-D i need to shave a little of the molding around the speakers because it sits right on the speaker and makes it rattle .. :'( you'll have mail within a half hour
