Hello all ! I am a new member to this site and I just want to say that this is Great!! Besides that I need help on my 98 ford explorer I recently purchased. The truck has 3inch wheel spacers , rear leaf shackles and the torsion bars have been tweaked and 3 inch body lift . My problem is the camber is way off and i get some poping noise when hitting bumps. I would like to replace the upper control arms, bushings, and ball joints, tie rod ends while im in there. but i dont know if stock will have enough adjustment to bring my camber in with the wheel spacers . I dont have alot of experience with wheel spacers but i am asuming there on there to help the tires from rubbing when turning?

You need to ditch those wheel spacers. Those are going to wreak havoc on your hub bearings and suspension. Did the previous owner put wheels on that were not made to fit an Explorer? If so you will need new wheels too.

Yes he did . The lug patterns do not match . And they are deep dish as well . What about rub if I remove those ?

Stick with no wider than an 8" wheel with a 5x4.5 bolt patern with 3.75" back spacing and you will be fine. You will have no problem finding wheels new or used that will fit.

Well that explains the wheel spacers lol . The truck has 33x12.5R15 ....... F

take the spacers of you shouldnt have a problem with that size tire if you have any doubt take one of the spacers in the from and mount the tire and turn wheel lock to lock and see what happens

I would do that but the spacers are also on there because the rim lug pattern is different .

With the torsion bars twisted, rear shackles and 3" body lift you will clear the fender wells fine with the 33's. There are a lot of people here running that combo with no issues.

What it breaks down to is the guy got a deal on a set of wheels or didn't know the wheels he bought were the wrong pattern and took the cheap, lazy dangerous way out.

Yea I here ya on that . Do you or anyone in here know anyone selling any rims ? And so should I just replace my ball joints and what not with stock ? Because with the right rims I should be ok with alignment

Check the parts for sale section. Craigs list is also a good place to look.
