Hey guys, I hope you can help me, I have some little problems with my 91 Sport manual trans. 2wd. I have 152,x.. miles, a custom attached conical K&N filter from a 97 explorer, and a 2 chamber flomaster designed for a mustang. My problems are: #1. I hear a slight knock at full open throttle about about 3000 or 3500 rpms. I have heard 2 problems, A: I need to replace the stretched timing chain or B: my crankshaft bearings are out. #2. I once span off the exit ramp (having too much fun with a blazer) when it was raining, and flew into the ditch. Every now and then my brake AND abs light come on. And #3. My knucklehead friend slammed my door too hard and broke the plastic handle. I called ford only to find out they were no longer made. Can some one help me find a new door panel and fix my problems please!

P.S. I would like to know which chip and which headers to go for..any personal expierence or facts you could give me would be very helpful.

hey i got a couple answers for you but not all of them. the headers of choice seem to be borla or jba depending on your budget and or need for rust free, long life?... the chip seems to be either superchip or custom burned? and finally the door handle, i bought my explorer salvaged, the door handle was broken out at the ends, i thought i would try something different something new... i build custom yachts so got a hold of a piece of 1" od stainless tubing cut it to length and used a hole saw to make the pipe slide in where the old handle was then used industrial bondo-type mud to secure it to the backside of the panel and to fair in and reshape the surface of the panel , i think it turned out pretty cool , if you like the look, hell for that matter anything liek that would work, i could even cover it with vanir for a hardwood look... etc.

hope this helps, dodger
