If I removed my rear windshield wiper -

Would there be a big hole where that middle peice is that connects it to the rear hatch? I wanted to remove that since everyone says theirs rattles really bad with hard hittin subs....

If anyone removed theres - got a pic?

i had mine shaved(along with almost everything else on the hatch)..and i miss it all the time...but it looks so sexy all smooth.
