2006 eb v8, thinking it probably has cheap ass coils in it. The previous owner didn't even put synthetic in the engine, but no matter where I look I just get flooded with these obviously crappy rip off coils. I only found what looks like official coils on advance Auto for 54 a piece! Which would cost me 500 some dollars in total, and that's not remotely okay or financially feasible for me. Does anyone know where I can get actual motorcraft coils for a reasonable price?

rockauto.com typically has good prices, but I think ignition coils for the V8 are just kind of pricey; the motor craft ones are $36 each plus whatever shipping is.

But for cheaper items like spark plugs, it’s probably better to look elsewhere. For example, the rockauto spark plugs are a few cents cheaper than amazon, but amazon prime gives me free shipping which makes it cheaper in the end.

I did find this listing on eBay, ($119 total) but there’s always a slight risk with eBay. 8 Ignition Coils DG511 & 8 Motorcraft Spark Plugs SP515/SP546 PZH14F For Ford | eBay
