Mine is stuck. I need to get it out. I have a service manual & it says with a small screwdriver insert it into the lock cylinder press down on the lock tab & pull it out. It shows a useless pic of the cylinder already coming out & no indication of where to press the tab. So where is the tab? On a 94. How do I get it out. I do not want to brake it anymore then it is.

There should be a little hole in the plastic, right underneath the cylinder. You can sometimes use a flashlight and look up in that hole and see the little round tab that needs to be pushed in. The tab will only push in when the key is not in the "off" position, so disconnect the battery and put the key in "run" position.

I see no hole under the cylinder. The only hole I see is the one after I took the door chime thing off. That is at the front of the cylinder facing you. I have the whole damn steering wheel/cover off. At this point I can't drive it. I don't see why this is so hard. I did one on my old Bronco II. That had a little push button & it came right out.
