I did not know if anyone has tried this...
GM vehicles have their reverse lights come on during illuminated entry (30-60 seconds long). Some of our Explorers have illuminated entry, but just the interior and puddle lamps. Has anyone tried (or been successful) wiring the reverse lamps this way on their Explorer?
It would seem like a pretty simple mod (possibly attaching the relay that controls the entry lights [in some fashion] to the reverse lights). Reading through the Haynes manual, though, that the reverse lamps are controlled by the transmission range sensor (on automatics), which is only "Hot In Run."
Just curious if this seems feasible...
