I am planning on getting a single in dual out flowmaster 40 series muffler. You guys think that the 3" inlet and 2.5" out is to big? Stock Explorers have dual in anyway way, i was just going to get a y pike made from the cats to the muffler then dual out. What do you all think. Do you recommend a different size?

ok im starting to think i have a problem here.....i ordered the 2" muffler,.....is that going to be a problem?....i mean should i order the 2.25 instead?....im hoping its not on its way now...i wonder if i can change my order.....someone tell me asap...
2" is fine just have the shop expand the inlet/outlet to 2.25" they can do it.... also, depending on who you ordered it through they may let you change your order..maybe not....
P 94 XLT sorry I don't have a way to record it! it has a deep sound but once you are to speed and let off alittle I can hardly hear it. but I have large tire's that make some noise too! I think you will like the delta 40. good luck
ok...well i was able to call them today and change my order to make it the 2.25 inlet instead....they didnt have a problem with it...they were really cool.....
can't wait to get it.....3 day select...lets just hope its here saturday..
