I'm having difficulty programming a key fob for my 1997 Aerostar.

Been trying to program key fob on my 97 aerostar . Online instructions say to press programming / override button. I can't locate it. Any ideas?

Welcome to this forum! Are you sure that it came from the factory? It might be an aftermarket system.

I'd like to try and help you, but I don't see where you listed a model number of the unit you are trying to program.

Do you mean number on back of key fob ? There is no number if so.

you need to google any info you find on the fob.i don't think areostars came with remotes.

I went thru this and could never make it work. I remember tearing everything apart to the right of the wheel to find that program/override button. Again, could never make is work. Sorry, Jeff
