I'm trying to find the coolant sensor on my Ford Ranger.

I found this site by accident and I am happy to have done it. Hello to all. I have a 2002 Ford Ranger, 2.3l, standard shift, 4cyl.

I am trying to locate where the Coolant Temperature Sensor is located. I purchased one but for the life of me, I cannot locate it. I hope some knowledgeable Ranger person can help me.

Hey man, it is located in the center of the cylinder head, between the number 2 and number 3 spark plugs.
