In-dash 6cd unit slow to respond.

Why is my in-dash 6cd unit responding really slowly? It started happening yesterday during a road trip where the unit was on for about 6 hours straight. The player started to turn on and off and kept saying "initializing". I touched the face and felt that it was really warm. It had been fine before. But now it responds VERY slowly to any button presses. And it won't work the cd-changer in my conslole any more either. Whenever I push the CD button to switch to the changer the unit just pauses then resumes playing what it was playing. Any ideas why this is happening?

These pioneer cd players are poor. There are companies that can replace the cd changer only. Just a word of caution dont use oemautosound in Florida. Read the reviews first.

Your getting warmer, this thread is only 15 years old with a single post. If you are posting in old audio threads just to trash a company, why not just start a new thread with whatever your issue is with them.
