in-dash problem

hey guys I purchased a new panasonic in-dash and have it hooked up as to the specs of the book, everything works flawlessly, except for one major problem.

There is NO sound, whatsoever. I am stumped. I have bass blockers in my doors, doubt its that...I have grounded the parking wire, cant be that....maybe I got a bad wiring diagram? either way I am stumped.

it is a 93 xlt, 4x4 4 dr if that has anything to do with it.

search is your friend. but to save you time, did you connect the blue/white on the oblong gray harness to the p. cont (aka-system control, etc. is blue/white if present or just blue) on the panasonic harness? the blue/white on the gray harness that plugs into the ford OEM harness is what turns on the factory amp
