My wife and I will be driving out that way for Thanksgiving weekend. Are there any accomodations in that area (of Ajo or Why, AZ?).
I have the BACKCOUNTRY ADVENTURES: ARIZONA book which lists the Puerto Blanco Drive and Ajo Mountain Drives as trails in the area. Because the book lists these sections of backcountry as 'drives' and not 'trails' they are undoubtedly meant for people with 2WD vehicles. !No Problema! I just want to see this beautiful section of wilderness, and if anyone is interested in checking this out with us, just let me know.
