Information needed on replacing the A/C accumulator.

I am wondering if anyone has replaced the AC accumulator on a 1997 Mountaineer or Explorer? If so, then are there any special tools involved. I replaced the Compressor but i also need to replace the accumulator because the system was opened. I am mechanically inclined so I want to do my own work.I have access to all necessary tools. Thanks!

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread to the A/C section. You will need a tool to unlock the snap ring coupling fittings.
