I have a 1999 ford explorer XLT and right now i have lifted it 2 inches with a torsion twist in the front and air shocks in the back. I want to put in a 3 inch body lift kit for my truck but I have some questions. Will I need to put in a new Steering shaft for my truck? And will I have to put in new brake lines?
Thanks anything thing will help me out.

the pa 883 comes with a steering extension that will correct the steering issue. your brake lines will be long enough as long as you keep track and make sure they arent over extended. i dont know about anyone else but my e-brake cable was too short but thats easy to fix

Wouldn't this question be better answered on the "modified 1995-2001 Explorer section"?

The e-brake cable can be relocated.. moving to a more appropriate forum. You may also need some bolts, some of the ones supplied don't have enough threads..

why is the pa 883 kit sold for rangers and not explorers? what are the differences? will i f*ck my explorer up trying to install this??? what size tires could i fit on an 01 xlt awd 5.0 explorer with just a 3" body lift??? sorry i'm new lol

thanks
