I have a 2003 XLT with the 4.6L V8...I am going to add a KKM Intake and a throttle body spacer. I am having trouble finding a spacer compatible with the 4.6L V8. Anybody know who makes a spacer for the 4.6L V8?

Thanks.

I don't think spacers make very much improvement if at all...

I agree, I haven't talked to one person who has a FUEL INJECTED engine that has said it was worht it. Someone with a Carb is a different story.

I have noticed a seat of the pants difference and have installed these in J**ps before with dyno results. If I can find the link, I'll post it here for the 4.6L

Yes.....Isn't this what the thread is about?

I am pleased with the results o mine also; particularly the gas mileage increase.

Those upgrades will more than likely help you out, but you have to be carefull. The aftermarket upgrades WILL void your factory warrenty, regardless of what the company says. I'm an employee of Ford, so I'm telling you first hand. Now if you have friends that work for a Ford dealer, chances are you can install these items and not void your warrenty (that is if your friends really like you).

This type of blanket statement is not correct and just perpetuates the misconseption of adding aftermarket parts. If you put on a TBS and you have a wheel bearing go out while under warnaty you still have your waranty. You only lose the waranty on a single piece and ONLY if that piece contributed to the failure.

If I remember correctly the law that covers this is the Moss Warranty Act. It is 15 U.S.C. 2302(c).

Here is more reading on this...

Don't think that is quite true.
