Intake for the desert?

Is the K&N FIPK the only intake with a heat shield? I want to add an intake, but living in AZ, I don't want to have an open cone in the hot engine compartment, especially during the 110+ summers. Do I have any other options or is the K&N the way to go? Thanks!

You could either go with the K&N filter replacement that uses the same stock air box or go to the Volant that comes in it's own coolant housing.
