Intake manifold replacement - A success, and thanks to all !

Thanks to the encouraging replies from Bandlow,
Oahrens, Grateful11, Iggy Flyweel & Slow-demon,
I sucessfully replaced upper and lower intake manifold + valve cover gaskets. Also Thermostat and temp sending unit.

Spent yesterday tearing everything out, and cleaning parts. I'm glad that I had the engine steamcleaned on Friday. Today I took my time putting everything back together while listening to great music in beautiful California sunshine.

You guys forced me to do something which both saved me tons of cash but also made me learn a little more about my explorer.

Congrats Craig!!
I did mine about 2 months ago. Not too hard at all is it. And besides the money saved, it just feels good to do it yourself doesn't it.
